Design ability - Altron's background in steel fabrication and manufacturing dates back to the early 1970's. We have a detailed technical knowledge of steel structures and the manufacturing processes involved in their production. We have both traditional drawing as well as CAD drafting facilities and use the latest 3-D computer aided structural design package to verify our products, as well as giving foundation sizes in accordance with British Standards. We advise on structural issues and can certify all of our products to conform to all relevant standards and give professional advice on specific installation issues.
There are over 400 town and city centres using Altron CCTV camera poles throughout the UK - from St. Helier in the Channel Islands to Stornaway in the Outer Hebrides and from Pembroke in West Wales to Lowestoft on the East Coast.

At Altron, we believe that service doesn't just end with the ability to back up our product range with technical knowledge and a comprehensive range of accessories.
Within complex and demanding delivery schedules, we endeavour to meet our customers requirements and work closely with them to achieve their needs. We have an expanding fleet of specially designed delivery vehicles all of which have cranes to offload our products, including poles of up to 15m and, where necessary, lift poles and towers onto prepared bases. We offer in-house training on all our products and are happy to accompany you on a site visit to resolve any design and installation problems.
