Spark extinguishing systems detect sparks or glowing particles in mechanical or pneumatic transport systems and immediately extinguish them automatically. The spark sensors used for spark detection work reliably, even in process temperatures of 600oC and dense product flows. Extendable micro-processor control consoles monitor and control spark detectors and extinguishing actions, store events, print reports and carry out automatic tests. In case of branched production plants, alarm computers are used for the central administration of several control consoles.
