Idesco Oy is a Finnish hi-tech company that develops, manufactures and markets readers, reader modules, tags and cards based on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology. Idesco was founded in 1989 and is therefore one of the oldest RFID companies in the world. The first read/write (R/W) RFID applications using Idesco’s technology have been delivered in 1991. Idesco is owned by its management and Polar Electro Oy.

Together with its system integrator network Idesco delivers RFID products worldwide for instance to access control, factory automation, ticketing, hazardous environments, logistics, maintenance and asset marking.

Idesco is one of the oldest RFID companies in the world. As a pioneer in RFID we offer products based on excellent technical know-how and long experience. Our innovative product development is at the top of the field in RFID technology. Our company is also certified according to ISO 9001:2000.
